A larval counting basin (for use with a trichinoscope), made of 3 mm thick acrylic plates as follows:
The bottom of the basin 180 × 40 mm, marked off into 10 mm squares,
The sides 230 × 20 mm,
The end 40 × 20 mm. The bottom and the ends is inserted between the sides, to form two small handles at the ends. The upper side of the bottom is be raised 7 to 9 mm from the base of the frame formed by the sides and the ends. The components stuck together with glue suitable for the material
